I'm an artist currently living near the coast of North Carolina, and often draw upon both the coastal region and the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I lived for several years, as inspiration in my paintings. My goal in every painting is to create a place of escape and tranquility for the viewer. I strive to stir memories of familiar places and to provide a medium for people to experience new ones. I've been creating daily paintings for over two years and I enjoy the challenge and growth that comes with each blank canvas.
